The women employees of Ajman Registration Center have participated in the second round of the “Pink Caravan” campaign aimed at increasing awareness of breast cancer as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on being committed to the principle of social responsibility and participating in humanitarian and awareness activities.
The Emirates Identity Authority clarified that providing support for and participating in such campaigns would contribute to increasing the society’s awareness of the importance of the breast cancer early detection programs for providing medical treatment to those proved to have the disease.
The “Pink Caravan” campaign, which will conclude on April 14, is supervised by the Friends of Cancer Patients Society. Through this campaign, the society seeks to raise funds to operate the 3D Mammogram Clinic, which is aimed at serving the people in remote areas and establishing a cancer tumor registry system in the UAE.
