Introduction

As part of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security’s commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange, and sharing leading government expertise and practices, the Authority has developed this form for entities wishing to undertake benchmarking exercises with the Authority or learn about the best practices implemented across its areas of operation.

This form aims to organise the process of receiving and reviewing benchmarking requests submitted to the Authority by external entities. It ensures clarity regarding the purpose of the request, defines the scope of the benchmarking exercise and the areas of interest, and supports the selection of the most appropriate mechanism for exchanging knowledge and expertise in accordance with clear institutional controls.

The Authority handles benchmarking requests through a structured methodology based on the principles of planning, defining the scope of the benchmarking exercise, knowledge exchange, and documenting outcomes and lessons learned. This contributes to supporting organisational learning, strengthening partnerships, and promoting leading government practices in the fields of identity, citizenship, customs, and port security.
