One of The Emirates Identity Authority strategy objectives is to make ID card as the most valued card where it is more than an identity card, it is an electronic ID card has many features and capabilities and compliant with most international standards among which is ISO Standard, it includes the personal data to be read automatically in usages that require the holder to provide an identity evidence and authentication. Some of these data are public and other are private and only readable/writable/updatable by the authorized authorities in order to protect the privacy of data.
UAE ID card contains card holder data (Emirates Identity Number, Name, Photo, Nationality, Passport data,finger print ,Digital certificates and other fields ) also provides a secure way to access private data through multiple applications used by public and private organizations and companies.
