His Excellency Major General Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman, inaugurated this morning (Monday 06 February 2023) the activities of the UAE Innovation Month “UAE Innovates 2023”, in the General Directorate, with the participation of officials from both the Identity and Passports Department, and the General Administration of Customs, as well Department directors, department heads, branch managers and employees.
The events featured innovative competitions and a brainstorming session on innovation, its importance and mechanisms, and the best innovations that contribute to the development of services, raising the level of customer happiness, improving the quality of life of society members, increasing productivity and developing performance.
During the opening ceremony, His Excellency Major General Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi stressed the keenness of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security in its various sectors and organizational units to participate in the activities of the UAE Innovation Month, due to the positive impact of innovation in anticipating the future and preparing for it by proposing innovative initiatives and solutions to future challenges and changes that may occur in the work environment, in addition to motivating employees to develop performance and devise new mechanisms to carry out tasks and responsibilities to serve the community and raise its level of well-being.
Al Nuaimi pointed out that the Authority has succeeded in establishing a culture of innovation in the work environment by increasing employees’ awareness of the importance of innovation and spreading the spirit of positive competition among them, explaining that the innovative and creative ideas of the employees contributed to meeting the needs of customers and developing the system of services provided by the Authority.
