The Emirates Identity Authority earmarked for the winners of its monthly cultural contest has been increased from AED1,000 to AED5,000, effective from the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Emirates Identity Authority has called on the public to participate in its cultural contest by answering its monthly question, which will allow them the chance to join a raffle for winning AED5,000.
The winner of the monthly cultural contest’s prize for July 2001 amounting to AED5,000 was Amna Abdullah Al Marr, a UAE national.
The monthly cultural contest was launched on the Emirates Identity Authority’s website in February 2011 with the aim of bolstering the channels of communication with the public based on the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on establishing a new connecting link with the society.
The questions posed by Emirates Identity Authority in its monthly cultural contest focus on developing the national identity by implanting it in the society and consolidating its values based on the constants on which the Emirates Identity Authority was established, considering that the national identity is one of the priorities which every individual of the society should be armed with wherever he/she is.
It is noteworthy that the winner of this monthly contest is selected by an online random drawing using the website www.random.org after the right answers have been sorted.
