The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), participated in the Sub-Forum on Migration Management Cooperation, held as part of the 2026 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum in Lianyungang, People’s Republic of China, from 8 to 10 September 2026.
The ICP delegation was headed by H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah Al Rudaimi, Acting Executive Director of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Ras Al Khaimah, and included a number of ICP officials.
ICP’s participation in the forum aimed to strengthen strategic partnerships at the international level. The delegation took part in the main sessions, which focused on “Smart Digital Services and Foreigners Affairs Management.” Discussions also explored mechanisms for advancing document verification systems and exchanging technical information to combat forgery and curb transnational crime, while facilitating the movement of travellers.
