The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) received a government delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic as part of the delegation’s official visit to the UAE, organised by the Government Experience Exchange Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs from 31 August to 4 September 2026, within the framework of strategic cooperation between the two countries in government work.
The visit aimed to introduce the Syrian delegation to ICP’s leading practices in service delivery and Zero Government Bureaucracy, future foresight and innovation, government performance management, digital services, and port management.
The visit also featured a meeting with ICP officials to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation, expand knowledge exchange and the sharing of expertise, and explore opportunities for collaboration in areas of mutual interest, in support of the Syrian Government’s priorities and future vision.
