ICP Explores Enhanced Cooperation with Ministry of Interior

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Interior on Monday, 24 August 2026, to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two entities and discuss a number of matters of mutual interest, contributing to greater institutional integration and enhanced operational efficiency.

The meeting was chaired by H.E. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, and attended by H.E. Major General Saeed Salem Balhas Al Shamsi, Acting Director General of Identity and Foreigners Affairs, and H.E. Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed Al Hamli, Acting Executive Director of the Foreign Violators and Foreigners Follow-up Sector. The Ministry of Interior delegation was headed by H.E. Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Ahmed, Director General of Federal Criminal Police.
