The ID World Abu Dhabi Summit judging panel granted Dr. Jamal Al Sanad Suwaidi, Director General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) the “Outstanding Leadership and Future Vision” Award.
The award is an acknowledgment of the significant role of Dr. Jamal Al Suwaidi in establishing ECSSR and his support for the different fields of academic research, which had a great impact in spreading intellect and culture and establishing the principles of academic research in the United Arab Emirates in particular and the Arab Region in general.
The award was given to Dr. Jamal Al Suwaidi by H.E. Suvi Linden, the Commissioner of the United Nations Broadband Commission for Digital Development and former Finland’s Minister of Communications, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, EIDA Director General, at the concluding ceremony of the ID World Abu Dhabi 2012 summit hosted by the ECSSR over the past two days.
