“ICA” and “ZHO” cooperate to create new services for People of Determination

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship organized a brainstorming session with a delegation of students and employees Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs on the sidelines of the events organized by “UAE Innovation Month 2019” at the General Directorate of Identity in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.

The session, which was chaired by Maj. Gen. Yousef Al Hammadi, the Head of the Innovation Team, included discussing a number of suggestions and ideas that could enhance the services provided to the people of determination and make them happy. ICA will prepare the necessary plans for implementing such suggestions after being included in its initiatives and improvement projects.

The organization of this workshop comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to support the people of determination and their participation in various activities, which aims at serving them and seeking to integrate them into society to contribute to the nation’s building and service, in following of the approach of the wise leadership, which gives such group of society the utmost attention and care and is keen to provide all the capabilities that facilitate their lives.

During the session held at the ICA’s Innovation Center at the General Directorate of Identity in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, Maj. Al Hammadi highlighted the key role played by members of this group in society, their contribution to the nation’s building and service, and their active participation in various events organized by the UAE, pointing out their achievements in various fields, which requires all institutions to contribute to enabling them to exercise all their rights and integration into society to participate actively in the service of their homeland.

Al-Hammadi pointed the importance of benefiting from such meetings because they contribute to translating the efforts of the Authority and support its efforts to benefit from the great abilities, capabilities, and talents of the people of determination by overcoming the obstacles faced by their individuals in their daily lives.

Maryam Al Zaabi, Head of Innovation Section at Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, stressed the importance of ideas, visions, and suggestions that can contribute to improving and developing the services of people of determination in various fields. Sheikha Al Dhanhani, from the Strategy and Future Department, explained the objectives of the session, pointing out the importance of participation of all in the discussion, interacting, and brainstorming, which will contribute to the achievement of outstanding results and the development of creative ideas.

The delegation of ZHOvisited the show platform on the margin of its participation in the Innovation Month, where they heard from the wards supervisors’ explanations about the new services provided and the achievements done. They also reviewed the platforms of the participant entities in which they display the latest in the field of customer service. They also toured the art gallery, which displays participations and paintings drawn by the students of the Abu Dhabi Autism Center.
