The Digital Validation Gateway project is one of the most important infrastructure development projects undertaken by FAIC to provide a mechanism to help government institutions in the country in its quest to transformation to “smart” government and provide its services through mobile phones and mobile devices and facilitate access to customers anywhere and anytime.

Through the Digital Validation Getaway, FAIC offers a wide range of digital ID card services, where users and institutions can access and benefit from its numerous features in accessing electronic services that require the use of Emirates ID card to authenticate and sign electronically without acquiring any software information or experience in encryption.

The services provided by VG include verification of authenticity of the Emirates ID card, its status and validity, reading personal information included in the Emirates ID card such as card number, identity number, name, nationality and other information that can be considered as public data, verifying the identity of the Emirates ID holder through fingerprint stored in the smart ship of the Emirates ID card, changing the PIN Code (password) and the encrypted electronic signature service, as well as the

electronic certificate verification protocol through which we can make sure whether the digital certificate is valid, canceled or revoked.
