Review the evaluation system for executives and department heads
The Executive Affairs Board of General Directorate of Nationality in the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship called for adopting distinguished initiatives and organizing activities and events that achieve the objectives for which the UAE adopted the year 2019 as a year of tolerance and contribute to promoting the values of openness to cultures and peoples and acceptance of the others in society.
The Board urged all employees of the General Directorate and the Departments of Nationality all over the State to follow the approach taken by the wise leadership in this field and to ensure reflecting the true meaning of cultural and social tolerance in their daily performance and interaction with customers and visitors, the matter which contributes to consolidating the position of the UAE as a global capital of tolerance and a global center for the dialog and convergence of cultures and civilizations.
This came during the first meeting of the Board in 2019, which was held at the main headquarters of the Authority. It was chaired by Brigadier General Suhail Jumaa Al Khaili, Acting Director-General of Nationality, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Khalifa Matar Al Humairi, the Executive Director for Personal Status and Passports, and Colonel Ali Shaaban Al Tayer, Deputy Director of the Department of Nationality in Dubai, and Lt. Col. Mohammed Malik Al Zhori, Director of Nationality Affairs Department, and a number of department heads.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed the system of evaluation of executive directors and department heads during 2019, stressing the importance of the active and vital role of this category of senior employees to make exceptional changes in their fields of work, encourage team-working and provide all means of support and motivation for their loyal and distinguished hard worker and excelled subordinates to enable them to make achievements and excellence.
The Board listened to Lt. Col. Sultan Mohammed Al Marri, Director of Strategy and Future Department at the General Directorate of Nationality, about the indicators of services provided through smart applications and services, and ways to upgrade them to the best levels, to be reflected positively on the satisfaction and happiness levels of customers. The presentation showed a significant improvement and development in these indicators in the various services provided by the Department.
During the meeting, Maj. Gen. Abdullah Khalfan Al Hamli, Director of the Government Communications Department at the General Directorate of Nationality presented a presentation during the meeting on his proposal for the formation of the Soft Power Council in the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship. The aim is to set the general policies of the Authority to enhance its excellence and improve its services to customers to become a role model among government institutions at the local and regional levels.
