Yesterday, his Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council opened “Happiness Center” at the Preventive Medicine Center in Al-Hamidiya area, through which time and effort are reduced to complete the transactions in one place and are delivered to the customers on no more than five instead of ten days.
Opening of the Station is a part of the initiative of Government Accelerators released by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makthoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in cooperation with five government entities, namely Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Human Resources and Emiratisation, Health and Prevention and FAIC.
His Highness and the attendees visited the different sections of Happiness Station which comes after completing the government accelerator specified to reduce the time required to issue and obtain residence for those coming to work in Ajman and as a part of Ministry of Health keenness to support initiatives that serve the community and achieve sustainable development.
His Highness listened to an explanation about the innovative services that are carried out in the station. Such services include the blood, radiation and laboratory devices in accordance with the highest quality standards.
He was also informed about two initiatives of increasing number of working hours among all entities and designing the unified form of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, FAIC, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman, as well as the initiative to determine the absorptive capacity in each of the mentioned entities.
His Highness reviewed the process of work in the station and listened to a brief of its work, represented in completing the issuance of residence within a period of not more than five days, by only two visits and in one place instead of what was previously practiced as completing the transaction required seven visits to four government entities in different places over ten days.
His Highness visited the station of FAIC and toured its various departments through which the transactions are carried out in addition to the Medical Examination Station and other departments.
During his visit, initiatives to ensure sustainability, which leads to achieve rapid results such as the Customer Awareness Initiative in the Happiness Station established by the Ministry of Health and Prevention at the Preventive Medicine Center in Ajman in cooperation with all entities concerned with issuing residence; namely the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and FAIC.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi praised the results of the government accelerator which surpasses the expectations after successfully completing 100 days and reducing the time required to issue and obtain residence permits for those coming to work in Ajman to be four working days by 90% and reducing 30% of the period of being without residence from the date of entering UAE.
During opening the “Happiness Station”, His Highness is companied by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of Municipality and Planning Department, Dr. Hussein Abdulrahman Al Rand, Assistant Undersecretary of Health Centers and Clinics in Ministry of Health and Prevention, Dean Mohammed Abdullah Alwan, General Manager of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Ajman, HE Hamad Al-Shamsi, Director of Ajman Medical Zone; His Excellency Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Deputy Director of Dubai Medical District, Noura Al Shammari, Director of Preventive Medicine Department in Ajman, and Wedad Ahmed Bin Brik from the Office of Cabinet of Ministers and representatives of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ministry of the Interior, Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Human Resources and Emiratization, FAIC and a number of senior officials in government departments in the emirate.
