HE Abdullah Bin Aqeeda Al Muhairi, Secretary General of Zakat Fund, inspected the innovative projects and initiatives displayed by the Emirates ID Authority and other participants in the UAE Innovation Week 2016 held by the Secretariat General of the Executive Council at Masdar City.
Al Muhairi was given a presentation by the stand team on the latest innovative projects and smart services offered by the Emirates ID Authority to its customers to facilitate use of ID card features at the individual and corporate levels.
He was also informed of the near field communication ID card reader application that enables mobile phones and tablets of different kinds to read the smart chip embedded in the ID card with no need to use traditional card readers.
