The United Arab Emirates will participate in the proceedings of the fifth Governments Future Summit Conference hosted by Bali City, Indonesia during the period from the 7th to the 10th day of this October.
The United Arab Emirates will preside over the proceedings of the third day of this Summit witnessing a wide international participation by a number of distinguished government figures representing various continents of the world.
The United Arab Emirates will be represented by Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri, the Acting General Director of the Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) who will be a primary speaker of this Summit through the working paper he will present on the return on investment in projects as well as the programs of governmental sector.
Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al-Khouri stressed that participation in this international forum aims at exchanging expertise and information and displaying the successful experiences and distinguished modes of the United Arab Emirates in the field of projects’ return on investment as well as information technology programs related to the governmental sector which is deemed one of the most important and vital sectors in the country.
He added that the Summit will discuss a number of special issues within the framework of modern methodologies that can keep pace with the challenges and achieve goals. He referred also to the importance of preparing specialized studies in the field of evaluating the return on investment in information systems on the long term and their role in improving government performance and building educational and training basics which will positively reflect on the management of this important and vital sector.
