The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, participated in the 41st Meeting of the Committee of Directors General of Passports of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday and Thursday, 29–30 July 2026, with the participation of delegations from all GCC member states. The UAE delegation was headed by His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Authority, and included a number of the Authority’s officials.
The meeting reviewed a number of important matters relating to passport services across the GCC member states and examined ways to further develop and enhance these services in order to strengthen integration and coordination among the member states, while advancing the objectives of joint GCC action.
