The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), participated in the 42nd Meeting of the GCC Committee of Directors General of Passports, held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 29 and 30 September 2026, with the participation of delegations from GCC member states.
The UAE delegation was headed by H.E. Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, and included a number of ICP officials.
The meeting reviewed a number of key topics on the GCC agenda and discussed ways to further develop them and enhance related services, strengthening integration and coordination among member states and supporting the objectives of joint GCC action.
