The Emirates Identity and Citizenship Academy organizes a session titled “Tolerance in UAE: Theory and Practice”

The Emirates Identity and Citizenship, annexed to ICA organized a practical session titled “Tolerance in UAE: Theory and Practice”. This marks its celebration of the last ten days of the Holy month of Ramadan.

The Session was attended by Colonel Mohammed Al Amiri, the Academy’s Director, Major Abdul Rahman Al Zaabi, Deputy Director, and a number of department directors and sections in ICA.

Dr. Farouk, the religious adviser at Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, the Director Mohammed V University – Abu Dhabi, emphasized that UAE is a role model for tolerance and co-existence, which is reflected by the presence of communities of more than 200 nationalities of different religions and races living in UAE in harmony and enjoying the feelings of fairness, equality, security, and tranquility.

He highlighted the importance of enforcing the co-existence legislations in-laws and activating the values ​​of tolerance among the people of the countries suffering from conflicts triggered by social, religious, and ethnic diversity. This can be inspired by the UAE model, which has become an example to be followed all over the world.

Dr. Hamada said that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan set and established the basis of tolerance since the foundation of UAE, which is the approach adopted by the UAE wise leadership. UAE is always keen on strengthening to remain the home of stability and co-existence among all without discrimination based on race, sex, or religion.
