Steering committee for “Activation of Electronic ID Applications” project holds meeting

H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has chaired the regular meeting of the steering committee for the “Activation of Electronic ID Applications” project.

During the meeting the most outstanding updates of the project as well as the completion stages of the working plan and the already fulfilled requirements for linkage with Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC) were discussed.

The working team was instructed to make a time schedule for linking the private sector as represented by banks and how to make advantage of the infrastructure of the electronic identity project.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Eng. Nasser Mohamed Al Mazrouei, ICT Executive Director, as well as project managers, the project-executing company and the consulting company.
