The management and employees of Sharjah Registration Center have honored H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, for being selected as “The Most Influential Figure in the Digital ID World over the Past 10 Years” by the organizing committee of the 10th ID WORLD International Congress 2011, which was recently held in Italy under the support and patronage of the European Commission.
Marking the occasion, Mr. Ismael Fadlallah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates and Director of Sharjah Registration Center, granted Al Khouri a shield of appreciation and a bouquet in the name of the center’s family.
Thanking Sharjah Center’s family for its kind gesture, Al Khouri affirmed that this achievement is the fruit of the limitless support that the Emirates Identity Authority receives from the UAE prudent leadership led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him. The achievement is also the culmination of the wise directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, the diligent follow-up of His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the Emirates Identity Authority, and the sincere and combined efforts of the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees.
This was announced during an inspection visit that Al Khouri paid last Thursday to Sharjah Registration Center, where he was briefed on the progress of work at the new center, which was opened last month.
Previously, the organizing committee of the 10th ID WORLD International Congress 2011 said Dr. Al Khouri was honored for his prominent role in and effective contribution to ID system management, his efforts for enriching scientific and field research and his remarkable participation in many dedicated scientific conferences and forums worldwide.
