ICA’s Customer Happiness Center at Khalifa Medical City, annexed to Preventive Medicine Center in Abu Dhabi, organized an awareness-raising activity for its employees and patients on diabetes, in collaboration with the Imperial College London Health Center, to celebrate the World Diabetes Day on November 14 each year.
During the activity, nutritionist Fatima Sadiq gave an awareness lecture on diabetes, its symptoms and complications, and ways to prevent it, as well as the definition of healthy foods that healthy people should eat to avoid diabetes.
The activity included medical tests for employees including blood pressure, blood sugar, and medical advice on the importance of maintaining health and ways to prevent diseases.
