A co-ordination meeting was held between the members of the preventive medicine project at the Emirates Identity Authority and representatives from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Ajman.
The meeting discussed means of activating the linkage of procedures between the ID card registration and residency issuance and renewal. Welcoming this initiative, the participants in the meeting showed their readiness to provide all forms of support to make a success of this significant project.
It was agreed to launch the linkage within the coming weeks through the Emirates Identity Authority’s current center, opposite to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, until the ID building annexed to the Ajman Preventive Medicine Center is completed.
The procedure in the upcoming period will be as follows: filling out both the ID and preventive medicine forms at the typing offices, going to the Preventive Medicine Center for medical examination and from there directly to the Emirates ID Center for completed registration for ID card before going to the General Directorate Of Residency and Foreigners Affairs for residency issuance or renewal procedures.
The registration receipt sealed by the Emirates Identity Authority’s seal will be part of the documents required to be presented upon issuance or renewal of residency.
The meeting was attended from the Emirates Identity Authority by Mr. Ismael Fadlullah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates Centers, Mr. Mohamed Saeed Al Talay, Linkage Director at Preventive Medicine Project, Mr. Rashid Al Nuaimi, Umm Al Quwain Center, Mr. Omer Al Maamari, Preventive Medicine Project Co-ordinator in Sharjah and Northern Emirates, and Mr. Mohamed Al Nashar, Director of Preventive Medicine Project.
