The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security celebrated the Flag Day in its various sectors and organizational units nationwide, in response to the appeal of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to raise the UAE flag on the 3rd of November in all Ministries and institutions.
The General Directorates of Residency and Foreigners Affairs all over the emirates raised the UAE flag to celebrate the march of giving and belonging to the homeland and rallying behind the visionary leadership. All the Authority’s centers participated in the flag raising ceremony in the presence of the centers’ officials and with the participation of the visiting customers.
This event took place as part of the government’s endeavors to promote community engagement in order to consolidate the national concepts and the values of loyalty and belonging, and to highlight the nation’s achievements, elevation and development, which is embodied by the flag on this day.
