“Identity and Passports” holds the first periodic meeting for the year 2023

The General Directorate of Identity and Passports of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security held its first periodic meeting at the Rahmaniyah Customer Happiness Center in Sharjah, in order to follow up the work progress and improve services performance.
The meeting was chaired by Major General Suhail Juma bin Kaltham Al Khaili, Director General of Identity and Passports, in the presence of Brigadier General Khalifa Matar Al Hamiri, Executive Director of Customer Happiness Centers, Brigadier General Murshid Hamad Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of Population Data, and directors of departments and centers in the Identity and Passports Sector.
During the meeting, His Excellency Major General Suhail Al Khaili praised the unremitting efforts made by all departments and centers, stressing the importance of cooperation and teamwork in order to achieve the strategic objectives of the Authority, and the vision of the UAE government to consolidate the Emirati identity and provide innovative services for ID card.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of periodic meetings in presenting models and successful experiences at the administrative and technical levels, in an effort to improve work and the services and initiatives provided to beneficiaries and customers.
The meeting focused on many relevant themes, the most prominent of which are about enhancing constructive cooperation in many areas of work, providing the required support for projects aimed at developing the system of existing procedures and operations, and proceeding with the harmonization of initiatives and activities within the framework of the Authority’s strategic direction for the years 2023-2026, in addition to discussing enriching efforts related to supporting aspects of institutional excellence, adopting innovative programs and projects, and applying best practices to raise the level of performance efficiency and work outputs.
