The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, represented by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Sharjah, organized the “Awareness Session on Services for Senior Citizens” on Sunday, 30 July 2026, in cooperation with the Sharjah Social Services Department. The session aimed to raise senior citizens’ awareness of the services available to them, promote social responsibility, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the Year of the Family 2026.
The session included welcoming a number of senior citizens participating in the “Masyaf 2026” summer camp and showcasing key smart services related to the family. It also highlighted the benefits of the “Taqdeer Package,” which enables senior citizens to renew their passports and Emirates ID cards proactively without having to submit applications. In addition, the integrated “Mabrouk Ma Yak” services designed to support families and newborns were presented, contributing to enhancing the quality of life for all members of society.
