Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Fujairah Hosts Customer Council Titled “A Youth Vision for Proactive Services”

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP), represented by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Fujairah and its service centres, organised a Customer Council titled “A Youth Vision for Proactive Services with a Human-Centred Experience” on Thursday, 25 June 2026. The event was attended by H.E. Major General Dr. Ali Ahmed Al Saghiri, Acting Executive Director of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Fujairah, together with a number of senior officers, officials, section heads, branch managers, employees, and customers.

The council commenced with a welcome address by H.E. the Acting Executive Director, who highlighted the importance of the services provided by ICP and emphasised the vital role customers play in developing and redesigning those services to better meet their needs and aspirations. The programme also featured a presentation outlining ICP’s approach to delivering proactive services, supporting the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, and enhancing the efficiency and quality of its service ecosystem.

The council reviewed a number of family and youth-related services and initiatives, including the Family Data Service, the My Family Package, the Newborn Registration Service, and the Mabrouk Ma Yak Package. Discussions focused on service delivery mechanisms, key challenges across the customer journey, and opportunities for improvement aimed at simplifying procedures and enhancing the overall customer experience.

The event also featured an interactive dialogue session to gather customers’ feedback and suggestions, in addition to a brainstorming session and a Youth Ideas Lab designed to generate innovative solutions, redesign services, and strengthen the effective promotion of ICP’s service ecosystem.

The council aimed to strengthen trust and partnership with customers, raise awareness of the national and institutional strategic framework, identify and categorise customer journey challenges, and support ICP’s efforts to deliver services that are increasingly proactive, efficient, and user-friendly. The event concluded with a recognition ceremony honouring participants for their valuable contributions and active engagement in proposing ideas and recommendations to support service enhancement.
