“ICA” and “MOE” discuss cooperation enhancement to achieve the National Agenda targets

Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship and the Ministry of Education have confirmed their keenness to contribute actively to achieving the National Agenda targets, foremost of which is to improve the quality of life of nationals and develop the smart services provided by the two sides to customers.

This came during a meeting between the two sides during a visit by a delegation from the ministry to the headquarters of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, during which they discussed their cooperation in the fields related to the national agenda, especially in terms of enhancing community cohesion and national identity, supporting the knowledge economy, encouraging creativity and innovation and developing smart services in the education sector.

Major Jamal Al Khateri, Director of Strategy and Future Department at ICA stressed ICA’s keenness to reach out to partners and enhance cooperation with them to achieve mutual benefit for all parties and ensure the achievement of the strategic objectives in quality and efficiency. He pointed out that enhancing communication and interaction between the parties contributes directly to enable them to reach the corporate excellence and leadership in the development of services provided to customers, and provide them as per the best standards.

The delegation, during the meeting which was held at the Innovation Center at ICA’s headquarters, in the attendance of Sheikha Khuloud Al Qasimi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Supervision Sector at the Ministry of Education, and H.E Brigadier Suhail Jumaa Al Khaili, Acting Director-General of Citizenship, reviewed the mechanisms used by ICA to develop its operations and the most prominent initiatives programs, and work systems adopted therein which contributed to upgrading its performance and enabled it to achieve the highest levels in customer happiness which it considers as a top priority.

The meeting also discussed the operational indicators of both sides, which are related to the national agenda, and reviewed the main ideas and proposals that will facilitate the procedures for the customers of both sides, besides upgrading the services provided to satisfactory levels that put a smile on their faces.

At the end of the visit, Major Jamal Al Khateri accompanied the visiting delegation at a tour of the Innovation and Creativity Center, where they reviewed its departments and facilities, and the latest technical equipment that aims to provide the environment suitable for the employees of ICA in particular, and for the employees of government sector generally, to be able to think out of the box in order to bring ideas that contribute to the development of performance to the best levels.
