GDRFA Dubai celebrates UAE’s 51st National Day

A series of activities and events were hosted to mark the occasion

UAE, Dubai, November 28, 2022: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organized a series of activities at its head office in Al Jafiliya to celebrate the UAE’s 51st National Day, which falls on December 2 of every year.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, attended the event, in addition to other senior officials and employees.
The event kicked off with a military parade by the GDRFA knights, followed by a bicycle tour. It has also seen “Al Ayyala” folk band perform the traditional dance together with school students, who visited the GDRFA headquarters, participate in popular chants and songs.
Al Marri stressed that the country’s 51st National Day is just the beginning of the UAE’s journey towards another glorious 50 years of unprecedented achievements.
He extended his warmest greetings to the UAE’s wise leadership, lauding the great efforts made by the GDRFA’s cadres to enhance the country’s position as one of the best global destinations.
Every year, GDRFA Dubai commemorates the nation’s National Day with impressive activities at a number of airports and land crossings to make a lasting impression on travelers and citizens returning from abroad.
