Fujairah Registration Center management holds meeting with 31 typing offices

Due to the important role of typing offices in the ID card registration process, the Fujairah Registration Center management has held a co-ordination meeting with the typing offices existing in the area covered by the center which includes Fujairah, Dibba Al Fujairah, Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Mirbah.

The meeting discussed means of bolstering the relation between the center and the typing offices in the area and stressed the importance of the data on the registration form and the necessity for dealing with them with utmost precision.

The transactions concluded in registration centers and those currently being made in typing offices were also discussed during the meeting, which also served as a reminder of the required documents for all categories. The meeting explained the reasons behind the rejection of transactions at the verification section with a special focus on the errors committed by typing offices and the solutions to avoid them.

In addition, the meeting reviewed the correct method to rectify the rejected transactions referred to typing offices which included payment of the remaining fees and re-scanning children’s photos. It also explained how to re-submit the transaction to be referred to the verification section.

During the meeting, the employees at the typing offices were taught how to handle a number of issues related to the issuance and renewal of ID cards and were advised of the nature of transactions concluded in typing offices, stressing the necessity for them to insert the telephone number of unified number correctly and accurately.

At the end of the meeting, which saw the participation of around 40 employees representing 31 typing offices, a question-and-answer session was held during which the participants’ inquiries related to the ID card registration procedures were answered.

It is worthwhile that these co-ordination meetings play a significant role in upgrading services and contribute to minimizing the errors that may be committed at typing offices.
