The Services Section at the Emirates Identity Authority has donated pieces of used furniture to a number of charities in the UAE including Al Rahma welfare subsidiary of the society of reformation and social guidance in Ras Al Khaimah.
The section clarified that over 120 pieces of office furniture in a very good condition were donated to Al Rahma welfare. These included desks and wooden tables of different sizes, leather chairs and other office requisites.
Work is underway to count the furniture pieces that were dispensed with at the Emirates ID centers so as to be donated shortly, the section said.
