A delegation from the Emirates Identity Authority has paid a visit to the ID card exhibition, Hong Kong, which concludes today (Thursday, 31/03/2011).
During the visit, the delegation was familiarized with the latest technologies with respect to making and producing ID cards and e-passports together with such added values as secure payment, transportation, e-commerce, ID verification, driving licenses and health.
The delegation was also familiarized with the new security features for verifying the validity of electronic documents and preventing manipulation and forgery in addition to the new generation of mobile registration machines.
The Emirates Identity Authority was represented in this visit by H.E. Mohamed Masoud Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Population Register and Mr. Abdullah Askar, Population Register Advisor.
