Emirates Identity Authority discusses preparing and operating registration centers linked with preventive medicine

H.E. Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has affirmed the Emirates Identity Authority’s intention to complete linking registration procedures with preventive medicine procedures and with the issuance and renewal of residences across the UAE by the end of this year, God willing.

During the regular meeting with the working team supervising the preventive medicine project which was held under his chairmanship, Al Khouri stressed the necessity for all the concerned departments and dedicated working teams to abide by the timeline set by the Emirates Identity Authority to complete this strategic project contained in the Emirates Identity Authority’s new strategy 2010-2013.

The meeting discussed the current situation at the remaining centers in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah as two preventive medicine centers are expected to be operated in Dubai Free Zone in July and Abu Dhabi Center in Khalifa Medical City in September.

The meeting also discussed the completion stages of the construction projects related to building new buildings for a number of registration centers linked with preventive medicine across the UAE.

It is noteworthy that the Emirates Identity Authority has operated 14 preventive medicine centers across the UAE, knowing that the residence issuance procedures in Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah are fully linked with the ID card registration procedures.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Al Harthy, Director of Abu Dhabi Centres, Mr. Mohamed Ayedh Al Ahbabi, Director of Western Region Centers, Mr. Ismael Fadlullah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates Centers, and the representatives of EIMAS, which is in charge of carrying out the preventive medicine project.
