The Emirates Identity Authority has launched a campaign at the level of its departments and affiliated registration centers and offices across the UAE to raise funds for supporting the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon in a bid to ease the sufferings of displaced people and improve their humanitarian conditions following the tragic incidents currently taking place in their homeland.
The donation campaign, which the Emirates Identity Authority initiated today, came as part of its participation in a 3-day campaign launched yesterday by the UAE Red Crescent Society under the slogan “They called for help.. We answered the call.”
The Emirates Identity Authority urged all its family members to participate in the country’s urgent plan to rescue the victims of the tragic incidents that the Syrian people are experiencing by raising as much money as possible in favor of the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon, so that these donations would be delivered to the Red Crescent Society.
The Emirates Identity Authority’s participation in the donation campaign is in harmony with the great humanitarian positions taken by the UAE, which is known to the world for launching honorable initiatives in such situations.
Underscoring its ongoing keenness on providing all possible aid to its Arab brothers and others based on its social responsibility concept and its commitment to the social and human issues, the Emirates Identity Authority noted the role played by the Red Crescent Society as an official entity representing the UAE for raising and delivering donations.
