Emirates ID participates in Government Communication Forum in Sharjah

The Emirates Identity Authority, represented by Mr. Abdul Aziz Al Maamari, Director of Public Relations and Marketing, who is also the official spokesman of the Emirates Identity Authority, has participated in the First Government Communication Forum, which is organized by Sharjah Media Centre.

During his inauguration of the forum yesterday, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, underscored the vital role that government media could play in managing the development process, which Sharjah official organizations and departments placed on top of their priorities for the upcoming period.

Underlining the key role of media in the society as well his personal and ongoing follow-up of the issues and events raised by the media, Sheikh Sultan called on media men to be careful with what is said and presented and to follow a credibility-basedmedia approach with the aim of raising awareness and presenting the different ideas and viewpoints in a productive manner to the benefit of all, away from deception and excitement that distort the real image of media and its anticipated role, particularly in our Arab developing communities which need every truthful effort and high awareness.
