The Emirates Identity Authority has attended the 2nd Sharjah Business Forum, which was held under the patronage of Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, as part of its efforts to communicate with the various economic sectors and entrepreneurs across the UAE.
The 2-day forum, held under the banner “Towards promoting GCC and economic joint work”, discussed the nature of the growth of trade exchange among the GCC countries. The attendees numbering over 400 people underlined the importance of exerting joint efforts to carry on this co-operation and promote the common economic relations with the aim of pushing the wheel of comprehensive development in the Gulf Region forward.
During its second and last day yesterday, the forum, organized by Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussed the actual status and ambitions of the GCC entrepreneurs together with their concerns and the challenges they were facing. It also discussed the regulations, laws and legislation required to be endorsed for serving small and medium enterprises.
The forum was attended from the Emirates Identity Authority by Mr. Ismael Fadlallah, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates, Mr. Mohamed Saeed Al Talay, Director of Ajman Registration Center, and Mr. Omer Al Maamari, Supervisor of Registration Centers in Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
