A delegation from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (“ICA”) visited Sharjah Publishing City, the first free publishing city in the Arab world, and one of the Sharjah Book Authority’s projects, which aims at promoting knowledge and upgrading the Arabic book industry.
The delegation, which included Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director of Dubai and Northern Emirates Customer Happiness Centers, Ahmed Al Bah, Director of the Sharjah Customer Happiness Center, and Ali Murad, Head of the Printing Offices Unit, reviewed the most important services provided by the City and the facilities it provides to publishers.
The City administration organized a field tour for the delegation, during which they listened to an explanation about the contents and facilities of the City, which accommodates, in its first phase, 550 institutions and companies.
ICA’s delegation presented an explanation about ICA and the services it provides to its customers, and the e-services it provides to both government and private entities, which help it to complete the transactions of its customers and simplify procedures for them.
