The Ajman Registration Center, in co-operation with Ajman Civil Defence Department, has organized an awareness workshop for its employees on how to fight and respond to fires as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on raising the employees’ level of awareness and their capability to respond to crises and emergencies.
The Emirates Identity Authority clarified that such workshops were aimed at training the employees and making them aware of how to deal properly with fires with the aim of maintaining the safety of the center’s employees and visitors. The awareness workshop held at the center saw the participation of the employees in a number of educational lectures in which they were trained in how to deal with minor fires in the yard of the registration building.
These awareness workshops came as part of an initiative titled “Prevention, Safety, First Aid and Minor Fire Extinguishing Operations”, which was recently launched by the Services Section at the Emirates Identity Authority. The initiative began to be publicized at all the Emirates Identity Authority-affiliated registration centers across the UAE.
First Warrant Officer Mohammed Al Zuraif from Ajman Civil Defence Department gave the lecture to the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees and the security and cleanliness staff. He also gave an adequate explanation of how to deal with and fight fires and take the necessary security precautions to avoid any errors or accidents that might result in the eruption of fires.
