The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security concluded a cooperation agreement with the Emirates Shooting Sport Federation today at the Authority’s building in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, with a view to enhance the communication and collaboration between the two parties, to develop the culture of shooting sports among the Authority’s members at the State level.
The agreement was signed by Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, and Sheikh/ Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Hasher Al Maktoum, the President of the UAE Shooting Sport Federation.
The agreement includes designating the authority’s cooperation frameworks within the sports fields that support the Olympic activities at the national level, in a step that confirms the importance of promoting this sport.
His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili extended his thanks to the Emirates Shooting Sport Federation, under presidency of Sheikh/ Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Hasher Al Maktoum, for the efforts he undertakes in spreading the game, consolidating the sports values in discovering talents, developing the capabilities and skills, to build generations capable of representing the UAE in foreign benefits according to the best practices, to realize the achievements that enhance the country’s leadership in the sports field.
His Excellency Al Khaili pointed out that the shooting sports teams of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security are present and active in all the Authority’s headquarters at the State level through the competitions that are organized, mentioning that the best of the Authority’s employees will be selected for the shooting sports.
On his part, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hasher Al Maktoum affirmed that the agreement with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security enhances their keenness to consolidate bridges of cooperation and communication with the main authorities in the State, and we consider this step as an opportunity to discover the talents and spread the Olympic shooting game.
