ICP Concludes the Events of the Authority Head’s Shooting Tournament at Police Sports and Shooting Club in Ajman

In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and competitiveness among the competitors, the events of the 4th edition of the Authority head’s shooting tournament were concluded, which were held on Wednesday, 6 September 2023 at the Police Sports and Shooting Club in Ajman with the participation of ten men teams and 19 individual participations by females at the level of the Authority across the UAE.
H. E. Brigadier General Ahmad Ibrahim Al Manaie, the acting Executive Director of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman said that organization of the tournament comes as a part of the UAE and ICP’s efforts to support the sports sector, encourage the society to practice sports and prepare professional sport cadres who are able to represent the leadership honorably in sporting forums.
Competitions took place among the highly enthusiastic participants in shooting tournament, where their outstanding capabilities and skills in shooting were highlighted, confirming their high security preparedness and capacities.
H. E. Brigadier General Al Manaie honored the first-place winners, where the team of the Director General of Identity and Passport ranked first and the team of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah ranked second. The third place was won by the team of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Fujairah.
In women’s competitions, Lieutenant Wadha Taresh Al Qaubaisi from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi won the first place and Lieutenant Moza Mohammed Ali from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai won the second place, while the third place was on by the Senior Warrant Officer Mariam Eissa Al Shamsy from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman.
For individual titles, Mohammed Mubarak Al Buraiki from the team of the Director General of Identity and Passport won the title of the best shooter in the tournament followed by Saleh Tannaf bin Hariz who won the second place, and Yafor Saeed bin Yafor from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Umm Al Quwain ranked third.
H. E. Brigadier General Ahmad Ibrahim Al Manaie handed over the trophy and gave golden medals to the first place winners, silver medals to the second place winners and bronze medals for the third place winners. He expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Ajman Police and the management of the Police Sports and Shooting Club for hosting the tournament and the distinctive cooperation they extended. Moreover, H. E. Brigadier General Al Manaie thanked and congratulated the participants and the winners for their contribution to the successful organization of the tournament, wishing them every success.
