83.95% of the customers dealing with Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) have expressed their satisfaction with the use of ID cards issued by the EIDA instead of the Health Insurance Cards.
In a poll conducted by EIDA last June via its website, where 9 thousand and 500 persons have participated, about 5.79% of the participants have expressed their neutrality towards the subject matter of the poll, while 10.27% have expressed their dissatisfaction with the use of the ID card instead of the Health Insurance Cards.
A report published by “Emarat Al Youm” newspaper in its yesterday publication, stated that the Health Authorities in the state started to activate the ID card and use it instead of the Health Insurance Cards; therefore, the beneficiaries can use their own ID cards with no need to show their Health insurance Cards to receive health care services.
Customers dealing with the Emirates Identity Authority emphasized to “Emarat Al Youm” the importance of approving the use of ID cards in all transactions with government agencies; and they invited the entities and service provider institutions in the state to integrate the cards they issue with the ID card, the matter which make it easier for customers to obtain the services with minimal effort and time.
