Awards and Global Recognition Reinforce ICP’s Leadership Journey

Sunday 31 May 2026

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) continued to strengthen its institutional leadership throughout May 2026 through a series of notable achievements. ICP was awarded two honours during the second edition of the Zero Bureaucracy Award, presented at a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi on 18 May 2026. In addition, the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship earned a Four-Star rating from the globally recognised QS Stars rating system, in recognition of its institutional and academic excellence in line with international standards.

The significance of these achievements lies in the complementary dimensions they represent. The Zero Bureaucracy Awards reflect ICP’s leadership in operational excellence and its ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer journey through more efficient and streamlined services. Meanwhile, the Academy’s Four-Star QS Stars rating highlights ICP’s leadership in academic and professional development, demonstrating that its pursuit of excellence extends across both operational and educational domains.

Receiving two Zero Bureaucracy Awards underscores ICP’s commitment to the UAE Government’s vision and its success in developing innovative government solutions that have enhanced service efficiency and strengthened the readiness of the digital government ecosystem. These efforts contribute to faster procedures, improved customer experiences, and greater support for the business community.

Similarly, achieving a Four-Star rating from the QS Stars global rating system reflects the Academy’s progress in education, training, and institutional governance. It further reinforces its position as a leading academic institution committed to international best practices and dedicated to fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and excellence across its academic and training programmes.
