Agentic AI. A Leap Towards Leadership

As part of its commitment to achieving the objectives of the UAE Government’s Agentic AI Project, which aims to transform 50% of government operations, tasks, procedures and services into models and systems powered by agentic AI within two years, ICP has taken a series of proactive steps to position itself at the forefront of the project and harness agentic AI technologies to advance its service ecosystem.

These steps include identifying development tracks, objectives and services based on a priority-driven approach, as well as forming working teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying the required technologies, and securing project approvals from the National Agentic AI Committee. ICP also organised a forum bringing together directors general, executive directors and officials to align visions, review approved projects and services, and motivate working teams to deliver implementation plans and achieve targets within the specified timelines.

The outcomes of the forum reaffirmed that the shift towards agentic AI opens new horizons for ICP by enhancing service quality, improving the accuracy of decision-making, and enabling employees to focus on higher-value work.

ICP’s ambition is not limited to adopting artificial intelligence applications; it extends to building a new institutional model in which intelligent capabilities become an integral part of the workflow, a partner in decision-making, and an enabler for achieving the highest levels of efficiency and readiness.
