The UAE Participates in GCC Passport Departments Directors’ Annual Meetings

The United Arab Emirates, represented by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, participated in the 35th meeting of the GCC Passport Department Directors’ Meeting, held under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Bahrain, from 6 – 8 September 2021, through video conference.
The UAE’s participation was under the chairmanship of His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Acting Director General of the ICA, who welcomed the representatives of the GCC countries. Al Khaili reviewed the topics on the agenda and various issues related to identity, passports, foreigners’ affairs, ports and activities of common interest.
