The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai takes part in the Arabian Travel Market exhibition

United Arab Emirates – Dubai, April 29, 2023: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai is showcasing a set of qualitative services that it provides to customers who wish to visit Dubai, during its participation in the Arabian Travel Market, which starts on the 1st of May and ends on the 4th of the same month at Dubai World Trade Center in cooperation with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai. The 30th edition of the event will witness the participation of more than 2,000 exhibitors and representatives from more than 150 countries, and 34,000 visitors are expected to attend.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al-Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, underscored that the Arabian Travel Market is a global platform that provides exhibitors and stakeholders in the hospitality, tourism and travel industry, travel technology developers and innovative airlines with promising opportunities and opens their eyes to the investment fields related to tourism, travel and aviation.
He added that the participation of Dubai Residency reflects the desire to enhance the presence and leadership achieved by Dubai, noting that the General Directorate has been showcasing during the days of the exhibition a set of services that it announced recently or in earlier times, with the aim of informing the public and concerned exhibitors of the most prominent advantages of these services, which serve our goals and enhance our growth strategies in Dubai.
The services presented by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai during the event include the presentation of the world’s first passport stamping platform for children in the arrivals hall of Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, and also the service of issuing a multiple entry tourist visa valid for 5 years, and issuing a multiple entry tourist visa valid for 30 or 60 days.
The services include a happiness card for tourists arriving through all ports of the Emirate of Dubai.
Dubai Residency will also showcase throughout the days of the exhibition the next generation of smart gates, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, which number 122 gates in the airports sector.
