The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security organized “the 50th Year “Running marathon, and this comes in line with the country’s celebrations of the 50th Union Day. The 5km marathon took place in Al Safia Park in the Emirate of Ajman. The purpose of this marathon is to achieve the vision of the wise leadership in supporting sports activities and making them a way of life among the members of the rest of the society.
A group of employees from different organizational units of the Authority participated in the tournament. At the end of the tournament, the Authority honored the first winner, first Lt. Talale Obaid Hareb Al Shamsi who won the first prize. The Authority also thanked and encouraged the remaining participants for their participation and their keenness to compete in competitive tournaments.
This tournament comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to organize sports activities aimed at encouraging people to practice various sports to promote the sport’s spirit among the employees and improve their physical performance.
