The Sharjah Registration Center has organized an awareness lecture for its employees on the dangers and risks of smoking. The lecture, titled “Life Without Smoking”, was aimed at prompting the center’s employees to avoid the negative effects of smoking on individuals and the community. It also dealt with the means and ways to help smokers quit smoking and the role of sports activities in achieving this goal.
The lecture attracted a number of the center’s employees, who watched a video showing the link between smoking and cancer and heart diseases.
