The Service Development Committee of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) held its regular meeting on Thursday, 16 July 2026, at the Authority’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Major General Saeed Salem Balhas Al Shamsi, Acting Director General of Identity and Foreigners Affairs.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments in AI-related initiatives and strategic projects across the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs and the General Directorate of Citizenship. Discussions also covered updates on the Global Star Rating System for Services, customer happiness indicators, and ICP’s service performance indicators for the second quarter of 2026.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Brigadier Tariq Salem bin Rabia, Acting Executive Director of the Financial Resources and Administrative Affairs Sector; H.E. Brigadier Mohammed Saeed Al Ameri, Acting Executive Director of the Human Resources Sector; Juma Abdullah Al Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Digital Transformation Sector; Nasser Ahmed Al Abdouli, Acting Executive Director of the Institutional Support Sector; together with a number of officials.
