Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai obtains intellectual property rights and launches the institutional partnership system

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has launched the “Institutional Partnership System” in order to harmonize governmental and international trends related to partnership and supply contracts, which underscores the pivotal role of Dubai Residence in creating solutions and systems that keep pace with projects and support national strategies for the next fifty years.
Under the new system, the Directorate obtained intellectual property rights in the field of institutional partnership, as a culmination of the Directorate’s efforts towards strengthening institutional partnership, improving the regulatory environment to ensure the implementation of sustainable partnerships with government, semi-governmental and private sectors, leading to the development of residency and foreign affairs operations and services in the emirate, and launching integrated seamless services that improve customers’ quality of life.
The new system contributes to enhancing the institutional reputation of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, drawing the framework and limits of partnership relations between agencies and institutions in a manner that achieves mutual benefit and added value, as well as achieving integration between the administration and all partners, and improving the quality of life of members of society.
His Excellency Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, stressed that the system created by the Dubai Residency through a selection of its national competencies, aims to expand the scope of strategic partnerships, increase productivity, reduce costs, raise competitiveness and take advantage of the abundant options offered by technological developments and the information and communications sector in developing services, making customers happy and raising their level of satisfaction.
His Excellency explained that the new system is a roadmap to embody the strategic cooperation between authorities and institutions to increase competitiveness and achieve added value, as it is an essential component of integrative work environments that are based on providing the highest standards of service delivery through the use of partnerships, information and communication technology, and innovation.
The new system supports the importance of institutional partnerships and their role in transforming management processes and services and providing proactive and flexible services by simplifying service delivery channels and electronic connectivity processes, in addition to continuous improvement of projects in innovative ways.
The system addresses the role of outputs resulting from operations and partnership relations, such as financial proceeds and government data, in addition to the services of partners, customers and society, and their impact on achieving strategic goals and indicators by achieving the highest levels of happiness of partners, customers, employees and different categories of society.
