The Ras Al Khaimah Registration Center, in co-operation with the Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence Department, has organized a training course for its employees on how to fight fires as part of the Emirates Identity Authority’s keenness on raising the employees’ awareness and enhancing their ability to confront crises and emergencies.
The Emirates Identity Authority clarified that such courses are aimed at training the employees and spreading awareness among them on how to correctly deal with fires with the aim of maintaining the safety of the center’s employees and visitors. The awareness workshop held at the center saw the participation of the employees in a number of lectures and training in minor firefighting operations at the external yard of the registration building.
This training course came as part of an initiative titled “Prevention, Safety, First Aid and Minor Firefighting Operations”, which was recently launched by the Services Section at the Emirates Identity Authority. The Emirates Identity Authority began to apply the initiative in all its affiliated registration centers.
Warrant Officer Salem Al Kindi from Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence Department gave the lecture to the Emirates Identity Authority’s employees. He also gave an adequate explanation of how to fight fires and the necessity of taking the necessary precautionary measures to avoid any errors or accidents that might lead to the eruption of fires.
