The General Pensions and Social Security Authority(GPSSA) has called on all retirees and those eligible for pension to provide copies of their ID cards as part of its bid to provide qualitative services that satisfy the ambitions of nationals and achieve its strategic objectives.
The GPSSA’s call comes in confirmation of its adoption of the ID card in its transactions and procedures with customers.
Through an advertisement published today in a number of newspapers, the GPSSA pointed out that the call excluded the members of the armed forces, Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, Dubai Police General Headquarters and the local departments in Abu Dhabi.
It is noteworthy that over 150 local and federal ministries, authorities and organizations across the UAE are currently adopting the ID card in their transactions.
